Lake Bennett Team Time Trial

Teams of 3 cyclists. Please list any team mates and the Category of your team in the "Additional Info" section, or if you need team mates let us know and which Category you prefer, if any.

The course is 2 laps of a 20 km Chinner Rd Team Time Trial Course (1 lap for Juniors). Check out the course (1 lap) on Strava HERE. Start/finish line is at the 2nd entrance to the Lake Bennett Bungalows (see pin on embeded map). The registration will be in the garden area of the Lake Bennett Bungalows, approx 8 km from the Stuart Hwy. This will also be the location for the post race presentations and has easy access to the lake for a post race swim to cool down. There will be two porta-loos adjacent to this area.

Please park along Chinner Road well away from the start/finish line (see map below). There are no street lights so please drive slowly when finding a road-side parking spot, and look out for pedestrians/riders as you arrive. Please see map below for suggested parking areas. Or better still stay the night in one of the bungalows and have a sleep in before the race! Details how to book below.

Categories include Men's, Women's, Mixed, Masters (50+) and Juniors. Cafe vouchers for 1st place in each category!

You need to hold a Cycling Australia RACE Membership. More information about Cycling Australia Membership types can be found here, including One Week and Race Starter Kits as well as discount Family Memberships.

Please note there are no shops or facilities at Lake Bennett, but we have a coffee van arriving by 8am and are planning some food options - muffins etc please cash and gold coins.

Bungalows are available for hire (two bed, two bathroom cabins are $275) which are self contained (and most have canoes too!) and can sleep up to four people. Please contact Margaret (0420860864) or Neil (0448921855) to book. Check out reviews and photos on their Facebook site.

Registration will be in the garden area adjacent to the 2nd driveway entrance (just after the lake overflow causeway) of the Bungalows between 6.15am-6.45am. Race brief will be at 6.50am at start/finish line for a 7am start. Most riders will finish within 60-90 minutes.
