Lock in the morning of Sunday, 13 September 2026, for the Lake Bennett Gravel Event – Marrakai Chase! Join the Darwin Cycling Club and Darwin OffRoad Cyclists for a fun 40 km gravel ride through the scenic Marrakai region, starting and finishing at the Lake Bennett picnic area on Chinner Road. The course features gravel roads, sandy sections, corrugations and a creek crossing, making it an enjoyable challenge for gravel and mountain bikes, although all well-maintained bikes are welcome. Every dollar from entry fees will be donated to R U OK?, helping raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention.
