September Sunup Criterium

September sees a return to a favourite venue as we welcome back the Territory Wildlife Park to our racing calender.

Pack up the family and head down to Berry Springs early to scoot around the park with the animals watching on, and the kookaburras laughing at all of our funny kits :)

When the riding is over, hang around and enjoy all the attractions and facilities of this wonderful park!

This event is for people of all ages, fitness and skill levels with a focus on having fun in an inclusive safe environment

Each Grade will have 1 race each 

Grades and race times

Multiple grades available. Please advise of your preferred grade during checkout in the comments, however grades and race times on the day will depend on the number and make up of entries.  Expected race times are;

A grade men: 35-40 minutes + 1 lap

B grade men / A grade women: 32-38 minutes + 1 lap

C grade men / B grade women: 30-35 minutes + 1 lap

D grade men / C grade women: 25-30 minutes + 1 lap (ideal for novice or first time participants)

Race organisers ask that you please help to ensure sign on is quick and efficient, such as having your race or event licence ready for display, and moving away from the sign on desk once you have collected your numbers, noting the timings are fairly tight, and we want as much racing time as possible.

Race licence

All participants require an AusCycling race licence, however a 4 week free trial and lower cost one and seven day event licences are available. The race and event licence options are available from:

All participants are required to show their race membership at sign-on. Please have proof of your race membership when you sign in, whether this is a physical membership card, on your phone wallet app or an old fashioned paper copy. It must include proof that it's a Race membership (i.e. not Lifestyle) and include an expiry date.
