Take the Starting Line for our Road Race in April! Get some laps in on the iconic Hidden Valley Raceway before the Supercars hit the same track in June. This event is for people of all ages, fitness and skill levels with a focus on having fun in an inclusive safe environment. This event is traffic free and spectator friendly.
The Race
The April Road Race is an endurance road race that is ibeing held on the Hidden Valley racetrack. It was originally intended for the event to include the ascent of the access road (the hill), but we haven’t been able to gain access to this road. As such the race will be held on the Hidden Valley racetrack ONLY.
Grades and Race Times
Multiple grades available. Please advise of your preferred grade during checkout in the comments, however grades and race times on the day will depend on the number and make up of entries.
A grade men: 75 minutes + 1 lap
B grade men / A grade women: 70 minutes + 1 lap
C grade men / B grade women: 65 minutes + 1 lap
D grade men / C grade women: 60 minutes + 1 lap
Race Licence
All participants require an AusCycling race licence, however a 4 week free trial and lower cost one and seven day event licences are available. The race and event licence options are available from:

All participants are required to show their race membership at sign-on. Please have proof of your race membership when you sign in, whether this is a physical membership card, on your phone wallet app or an old fashioned paper copy. It must include proof that it's a Race membership (i.e. not Lifestyle) and include an expiry date.
Timings
06:00am: venue gates open
06.15am: sign on opens
06:45am: race brief
06:50am: venue gates close, Pedestrian access only after this time
07:00am: race starts
09:00am: presentations
Race organisers ask that you please help to ensure sign on is quick and efficient, such as having your race or event licence ready for display, and moving away from the sign on desk once you have collected your numbers, noting the timings are fairly tight, and we want as much racing time as possible.
Pave N’ Pines Challenge – 5 April 25
If you are up for a challenge, in addition to participating in this race, you are encouraged to enter the DORC 2025 Old Pine Forest 2hr mountain bike event (4pm - 5 April 25) - occuring seven hours after the April Road Race. By participating in both the DCC April Road Race and the DORC 2025 Old Pine Forest 2hr mountain bike event you will complete the Pave N’ Pines Challenge. It's a tough challenge, so if you do attempt it make sure you look after you physical health – eat lots of food, stay well hydrated, don’t drink too much grog the night before and don’t push yourself beyond your limits!
