Lake Bennett Team Time Trial

🚴‍♂️ Open to MTB, triathlon, hybrid, TT & road cyclists. You can participate on a mountain, triathlon, TT, hybrid or drop bar road bike; but, it must be safe and in good working order.

There will be awards for the best dressed team. There may be other random awards, as to be determined by event volunteers.

Teams of 3 riders – let us know if you need help finding one.

Schedule

• 6:15am – Sign-on opens

• 6:45am – Sign-on closes

• 6:50am – Race briefing

• 7:00am – First team starts (intervals)

Course

Strava route (~40 km / 360 m elevation / 2 laps of Chinner Rd)

 

The course is on open roads; however, Core Traffic Control will manage all traffic to maintain a safe environment for riders and the community.

 

Morning Tea

• Darwin Cycling Club will supply water & cold drinks

• If able to - please bring a small plate of food to share (fruit, cake, lollies, dip, crackers, homemade croissants, boiled eggs or whatever)

Volunteers Needed 🙌

At least 8 helpers required for sign-on, timing, marshalling, course prep and pack-up
(Most roles allow you to both ride & volunteer).

Location & Parking

🚫 DO NOT PARK AT LAKE BENNETT/ DE LAGO RESORT.
✅ Park along Chinner Rd, near the shack area park (see below map).
⚠️ Drive / ride carefully – WALLABIES ON CHINNER ROAD.
