DCC Australia Day Social Ride

Spread the word people! Australia Day will be our first social ride for 2020. Come spin your legs and join us for coffee at the end.

*** NOTE: If the weather is inclement, check our Facebook page prior to the ride as we will post there if the ride is cancelled. If that does happen, we will try again the following Sunday, 2 February. 

Things you need to know:

• The group will be leaving the Nightcliff Pool car park at 630am sharp. Please be there by 6:20am for a Ride Brief.
• Lights are required, plus water and necessary spares.
• A link to the route on Strava is here.
• Although this is a no-drop ride, we will have stops at Crocodylus, behind Puma Berrimah and at the end of Bishop St (Early Learning Centre).
• Finish is at Ray's Cafe, 66 Smith St.

This is a "NO DROP" ride, with a 25-30km/hr average.

Darwin Cycling Club Social Rides are free and a great chance to get involved in the Darwin cycling scene. They are "re-group often, no drop" rides, at about a 25-30 km/hr average. These rides are ideal if you're new to Darwin or never ridden in a group before, although that doesn't mean they're only for novices.
