DCC Batchelor Social ride

This ride will leave from the Litchfield Motel, Batchelor, at 4.30pm and head down the first part of the Batchelor Classic Road Race route, along Coach Road, Miles Road and Solomon Road to the upper Finniss River. The first part of Solomon Road is a very steep hill - the "Col du Solomon". The ride is about 20 km (about 60-90 mins). This social ride is open to anyone, even if you are not intending to race, and is a no-drop ride. Join us afterwards at the Litchfield Motel for dinner from 6.00pm.

Darwin Cycling Club Social Rides are free and a great chance to get involved in the Darwin cycling scene. They are "re-group often, no drop" rides, at about a 25-30 km/hr average. These rides are ideal if you're new to Darwin or never ridden in a group before, although that doesn't mean they're only for novices. DCC membership is not required and we encourage members and riders of all abilities to join in.
