Father's Day Classic

The Father's Day Classic is an endurance road race held on an extended 5km lap of the Hidden Valley racetrack, and includes the ascent of the access road hill each lap.

This event is traffic free and spectator friendly.

Multiple grades available. Please advise your preferred grade during checkout, however grades on the day will depend on the number and make up of entries.

In addition to the normal grades, there will be a social (no drop) grade, which is a fun and non-competitive way to experience a Darwin Cycling Club event.

All participants, including the social grade require an AusCycling race all disipline licence, however free trials and lower cost one and seven day licences are available. Race licences are available from https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership. 

Grades

A grade men: 80 minutes + 1 lap

B grade men / A grade women: 75 minutes + 1 lap

C grade men / B grade women: 70 minutes + 1 lap

D grade men / C grade women: 60 minutes + 1 lap

Social grade: 60 minutes

Timings

06:00am: venue gates open

06.15am: sign on opens

06:45am: race brief

06:50am: venue gates close, Pedestrian access only after this time

07:00am: race starts
