The Friday Night Team Time Trial is a race where teams of three riders work together to set the fastest time over 10 laps of Hidden Valley Raceway. In theory, it’s about smooth pacing, drafting and tidy rotations. In reality, it’s an excuse to tear around one of the planent's best cycling tracks with a couple of mates, have a laugh and pretend you’re pro.
Ride whatever you like — MTB, tri, TT, hybrid or drop bar road — as long as it’s safe and working properly.

10 laps of the 2.87km Hidden Valley Raceway track — Total 28.7 km
Water and cold drinks provided by Darwin Cycling Club.

Originally, a Team Time Trial was scheduled to take place at Lake Bennett on 17 May 2026. However, road damage in the area has made it unsafe for bicycle racing. The Territory Wildlife Park was considered as an alternative, but its roads are affected by similar issues. As a result, the Team Time Trial has been relocated to Hidden Valley Raceway and will now be held on the evening of Friday, 15 May 2026.
